Intercepts

Intercepts are the corresponding coordinates of the intersections of a geometric figure with a coordinate axis. For example, in the xy-plane, the x-intercepts of a line or a curve are the x-coordinates of its intersections with the x-axis. Wolfram|Alpha can compute the specified intercepts of a geometric figure in 2D and higher dimensions and can also return all possible intercepts if no axis is specified.
